Wardian Project London

Wardian Project London

Wardian is a botanically inspired development that overlooks the South Dock and is moments from Canary Wharf

Developed by EcoWorld Ballymore and designed by Glenn Howells Architects, Wardian comprises two residential towers of 50 and 55-storeys which contain 768 homes. It is a world first in housing design that aims to create a tranquil escape from London’s dense urban environment, with its common spaces featuring floor-ceiling contemporary glass cases filled with more than over hundred plant species that evoke London’s historic conservatories at Kew Gardens.

At the beginning of 2020, Hoval partnered with international property development company, Ballymore Group, to provide heating and hot water for the impressive building.

The solution installed at Wardian Project comprised one of our CHP EG530 Units and two of our gas condensing UltraGas 1150 D Units.

Speaking about their decision to use Hoval solutions for this project, Aaron Caffrey of Ballymore Group said:

"Ballymore chose Hoval boilers for the Wardian Project due to their great performance and reliability".

Our CHP EG530 Unit boasts a high degree of efficiency and are perfect for larger projects such as this. They are also ideal for District Heating schemes, commercial facilities, healthcare facilities and even schools.

Our UltraGas D Units are equally as reliable, delivering the highest efficiency whilst remaining cost-effective to run.

Aaron Caffrey of Ballymore Group continued:

Not only are we completely satisfied with the performance of the units we selected, but also with the service and support provided by Hoval
