Hoval is helping Derby in their quest to be the cycling capital of the UK
Derby Velodrome, the multi-use arena at Pride Park in Derby, now plays host to two Hoval UltraGas 850.
The arena was constructed by contractors Bowmer & Kirkland, and was scheduled to open in January 2015, although this was rescheduled and it eventually opened in March 2015.
Our UltraGas 850’s provide heating and hot water to the arena which boasts Britain's 5th 250-mentre indoor track, as well as 12 badminton/volleyball/netball courts, a café, gym, group exercise studios and a spinning studio.
The arena hosted it’s first major track meeting in August 2015 when it hosted the opening round of the 2015-16 Revolution Series, featuring a number of Olympic and world champions (including Bradley Wiggins).
The plan is eventually to make Derbyshire the cycling capital of the UK, and all of us at Hoval are proud to play our part in making this happen.
