Hoval in the tallest building in the world

Hoval in the tallest building in the world

Where the land is flat and night falls quickly, people need points of reference. In Dubai, this point is a needle that pierces the sky.

Sharp and pointed in the glaring backlight of the day, an upright staff of lights at night. The Burj Khalifa leaves everything under it with its approximately 828 meters. Highest free-standing building in the world, highest inhabited floor, highest viewing platform – the superlatives seem endless.

On each of the more than 160 floors, warm water must flow from the tap at any time of the day or night, and abundantly. For this purpose, a total of eleven Hoval UltraGas (300) condensing boilers supply the warmth.

Power range from 15 to 3100 kW

The Hoval UltraGas condensing boiler has been setting the international benchmark for years: its efficiency and cost-effectiveness, continuously optimized over time, are practically unsurpassable. The range of services of the Hoval UltraGas ranges from a single boiler with 15 kW to a double boiler system with 3100 kW.

Where even more power is required, up to eight boilers can be switched in cascade. Office buildings, shopping centres, industrial halls, multi-family and single-family homes worldwide obtain their heat from one or more Hoval gas condensing boilers UltraGas.

Proven Profitability

With its condensing technology and its patented aluFer heat exchanger, the Hoval UltraGas a maximum of heat from the energy source. Compared to a modern low-temperature boiler, it consumes 10-16% less gas. The lower energy costs make up for the higher investment costs in less than 2.5 years. The environmental balance is also impressive: In twelve years, a Hoval double boiler plant will be launched UltraGas with an output of 2000 kW, an average of around 1000 t less CO2.

Refined Heat Exchanger

The Hoval owes its high efficiency UltraGas especially the aluFer heat exchanger: This cools the hot water vapour and the exhaust gases produced during combustion particularly efficiently and effectively, thereby gaining additional heat energy and supplying it to the heating water.

Integrated in Building Management System

The standard integrated Hoval system control system TopTronic E allows up to eight boilers to be brought together to form a cascade. The Hoval TopTronic E is easy to operate and bundles the gas condensing boiler with other Hoval system components to create a reliable and efficient overall system. The Hoval gas condensing boiler can be used via appropriately available interface modules UltraGas or integrate the overall system into the higher-level building management system.
